Supposing any of that breakthrough energy stuff is real will it ever be allowed? Would the patent office even accept plans for cold fusion or zero point or whatever? If it's not allowed and they just classify all of it then what is the point of any of this? Won't civilization just collapse once we run out of cheap energy? At that point will the patents be unclassified and approved for commercial use or are we all just going to die?

I remember hearing a story about a guy who made solar panels that generated a fuck load of power compared to the ones out there. Got shut down on the basis of national security, can't remember the details, think he was a teacher. Heard about other guys who just get paid off for life to give up their project

Energy is the most vital thing to the economy and human progress. If it's being stifled it threatens everything.

Of course I can understand the counter arguments. If every idiot had limitless power civilization might be threatened by that too.

It feels like we're stuck.

LENR is real. The isotopes present after experiments prove it. Who knows about the other shit like zero point. I have no fucking idea about that stuff.

The problem with LENR is that it's not reliable. Someday it will be though.

The question is can we use it for the main street economy or will entrenched interests ban it?

They clearly have a massive hard on for that hot fusion tokamak crap because it requires a huge amount of capital to get started thus creating a nice natural barrier to entry and lending itself to centralized control.

I guess the tokamak stuff would be fine if they could get it to work. No flying cars though and you'd still have to pay bills.

If someone doesn't find someway to add energy to the economy the future doesn't look so fun.

can't see a negative to having unlimited energy, our purchasing power would go up tremendously along with our standard of living, we'd still have to pay for the infrastructure, but the energy itself would be cost free which would be great.

>can't see a negative to having unlimited energy

There are legitimate concerns, which is why I think there may be technological suppression going on.

If everyone could use as much energy as they wanted the waste heat would melt the Earth and possibly create pink wojaks see the graphs posted >>3657401
>>3657423

So we couldn't stay on Earth. People would have to spread out across space. I guess Earth would become like a park or possibly a shitty ghetto. Maybe both.

Also people are currently worried about Kim Jong Un having a couple nukes. If there was really unlimited energy your local disgruntled twelve year old could start enriching uranium.

Still, if we stick with coal and solar we're gonna be poor and our civilization is gonna die and all of this will be for nothing.

It's funny that you think your elite owners would ever let you have free anything. They supress the technology and poison you.

there is already free energy but for that to be used a lot of shit has to be cleaned up first....and until people dont realize where consciousness is coming from and what a human is.....it is no use to talk about that
to use stuff like that....we would have to relearn existence.....exactly which will happen

>Zero point energy
>Energy from the vacuum

Literally free energy. Energy from the vacuum is powerful enough such that a coffee-cup full of vacuum energy could boil all the oceans on the planet. It was found 100 years ago, understood 100 years ago, reproduced 100 years ago, and conceptualised even earlier (Tesla days).

It will never, ever see the light of day; until absolutely necessary.

It'll happen, just not for the next long while. Looooong after you, I, and every other anon's grandkid's grandkid's grandkid's are dead.

Electrogravitics and interstellar travel are inextricably enmeshed; fact. This is one reason why it's kept under wraps.

I remember reading about one of the first implementations of energy from the vacuum. This scientist could literally flip the switch, and generate enough energy to power a home. There's even a Wikipedia page on it; he was a well established scientist.

When he patented it, he demonstrated the technology to some large companies. He intended to get some funding so as to mass-produce the devices.

I remember clearly that one of the key energy titans present at the demonstration was awestruck. His first question was:
>where's the meter?

When the scientist explained that he would be charging for the device only, not the energy - the investors left without contributing to his project.

Within the week, he was arrested. Whilst in police custody, his entire workshop was burnt to the ground - along with a substantive portion of his house.

If I remember correctly, Tesla was somehow correlated to the technology - either he had seen it or his research had contributed engendering it.
