BTC is king.
BTW, no altcoin has made significant improvements (note the word significant) to BTC (eg. ETHs increased complexity is worse, not better than BTC).
BTC solved the double spendng problem for digital value exchange systems, which is absolutely revolutionary. Because of that and it being a peer to peer network, it has the network effect advantage, ie. the benefits for new users to join BTC are cheap and large, the benefits to join your shitcoin network are small to negative and expensive. See facebook: it is by no means technologically or design wise the best network but it has the network effect. New businesses/users/normies will look at facebook and ignore any and all other networks.
Seeing that no altcoin has offered benefits that outweigh BTC network effect benefits, it will remain king.
ETH does now also have the network effect going for it, but it's questionable whether it's design goals will even be met, and a new DAO is lurking around the corner.
