Volume is still incredibly high yet price is falling wtf. This is clearly a fake out to get people to dump before they pump it up to like $5+ or something. Just doesn't add up.

Bought at 25k sats.
Been watching for awhile and figured that long as red candlestick was a good buy signal.

Ive noticed.
Most coins i buy drop 10% or so before taking off.
I rarely catch the tops or bottoms, i find more success riding the middle of the waves.
I have a sell order at 32k sats.

Same here. Unfortunately I lost a lot already so I can only hodl and hope it will pump back soon. The devs said the license was only for fiat so it doesn't explain such a huge dump. My condolences to the people who bought at the ATH, I hope it reaches that point again someday so you can dump your bags.

>> No.3532148

>>3531382
It doesn't even need to recover for you to make money anon, you don't sell this coin, you don't even sell your share of the profits, you just let it compound forever

>> No.3532239

>>3532118
It's not just the license. We were all lead to believe the site was launching end of the month, and more info on the revenue sharing. It's only gonna be a fucking open beta this month, who knows how long until the actual casino even launches?

Bad news...really bad news. The Devs went from hyping up an operating casino and gambling license to take fiat as well to a beta test at the end of the month. Really bad news...as someone who had a lot of faith in this project and bought in near the ATH this is worst case scenario. This will probably go sub 20k tonight, I'm gonna be stuck with these bags till December.

I was thinking about buying before the dip too but I changed my mind at the last moment, dodged a bullet there. Dumped at a loss now to move on to other stuff and I'll rebuy in a couple of days. Wish you all the best anon, don't forget to never invest more than you can afford to lose.

I think their method of making money is too speculative at this point and will only drive volatility as FUD/FOMO is more effective.
It has potential, but without a working product we can't even begin to gauge what that potential is.

You got to wonder how many people have looked at the Fun showcase yet. Even that this early stage they've captured the casino vibe brilliantly, while Edgeless beta just feels like your playing blackjack in a hospital.

You look at a casino in Vegas and they serve free alcohol, sexy waitresses, dealers, billion dollar buildings, free hotels, ect. ect. Blackjack has like a 1% edge but they make so much more from people who do not know basic strategy or will not play basic strategy in certain situations cause of "muh instincts".

So they can afford to give back that extra 1% and still make money. It's all in the white paper. They will also eventually add poker and sports betting and take a rake.

who /funfair/ here?

edgeless dumped because they are getting a shitty Curacao license, which is basically a pleb-tier license you can apply for online.

meanwhile funfair completely skirts this problem by instead targeting casino operators to use their tech in the background instead of operating a casino themselves. this has a lot of advantages, the major one being that they are not responsible for compliance on the legal side of things. The operators will already have a license or seek one to operate in their local jurisdiction

I'm not overly bullish on FUN right now because I think they're priced in pretty well at ~$100M. AFAIK, they won't be competing with Edgeless directly as Funfair will be selling their games to casinos.

I'm a good bit more bullish on DICE right now sitting at $25M. They don't have to compete with FUN or EDG as it has type of game that attracts a very specific type of gambler. The type that is calculated.
Etheroll has a great dev team, they have a very realistic road map. The dividend period will likely be larger than last times as there are more players which will draw in more hype. It currently has 7% annual returns via dividend and if let's say the player base grows 5x which is realistic, that'll be 35% returns if you buy at the current price. If it is ever listed on a larger exchange it will receive a large bump up. Their mobile platform is ready for Q1 2018, they're just waiting on status.im to release.
It's on a low right now although it has gotten a bump up recently as it was very undervalued. I'm very bullish on the gambling scene and I think DICE is at least a 2x for the next dividend period with very low risk which I like because crypto is crazy. Hope that's enough shilling haha.

>>3532802
look into enjin and invest in their ico coming up in a few weeks. maybe pick up some cheap enj from beta dumpers on etherdelta

btw funfair is still pretty cheap and theres still time to buy in before they burn a large amount of coins with the phase 2 sale

>> No.3532840

>>3532767
I mean, I haven't looked into Funfair, but from all the posts, they aren't even going to be running a casino? They are just going to be licensing the games to other people who want to run a casino?

I mean, that seems like a joke. Nobody is going to bother licensing their tech when you can code a blackjack app in 10 minutes and not have to give up royalties. The money would be in operating the actual casino. Maybe I am misunderstanding.

>> No.3532852

>>3532830
They're gonna burn tokens soon?? A silver lining! How many tokens are they sacrificing to moloch?

>> No.3532870

>>3532840
you are misunderstanding. the reason a casino operator would want to switch to funfair over running servers is that its cheaper for them and also gives the gamblers full control of their funds. both operators and players stand to gain from playing on funfair tech because it has the speed of real gambling with all the benefits of crypto.

funfair would cut operational costs and therefore increase margins for operators because of its decentralized nature. theres no backend to run or any maintenance involved because the gambler is interacting directly with the blockchain/state channels
