I've been watching a coin.

This coin has dropped in volume from about 1k BTC to 960.

Why is the price rising despite the volume dropping?

it's a trend reversal after a long term bleedout possibly just the short term rise due to basic TA levels & stats also volume tracks it over 24hrs so while it may be being bought right now it may not have been as hot 24hrs ago.
