How is no one talking about this? Early this AM gas shortages appeared in my city (Burleson, one town South of Fort Worth). I bought gas around 11AM at which point ALL stations were out of regular unleaded, and prices were surging. I bought Premium for $3/gallon (was $2.05 last night).

Currently my entire city of 40,000 people is out of gas, completely. My church cancelled their weekend plans for fear of people not having gas to get there.

GUYS, THERE WILL BE A MAJOR HAPPENING AT THIS RATE IF/WHEN THIS CONTINUES.

We are not alone, gas stations inside DFW are charging $5+/gallon and many are crammed full of cars.

When people run out of gas tonight or tomorrow on the highways, everything will be completely FUCKED.

As a warning to my brothers in North Texas, BUY FOOD AND WITHDRAW CASH, NOW!

If this doesnt clear up, the stores have about 3-4 days worth of food under normal circumstances. If theres a run on them, much less. After that, you're on your own (hence, withdraw cash).

Also - unnessicary driving - tell everyone in your household to stop doing it, NOW.

If you have a few spare bucks, stop by an auto parts store and buy a locking gas cap for your vehicle(s). If this continues, there will be people stealing fuel.

Ensure that you have at least some ammo. As a friendly reminder to my Texan brothers, the motorist protection act allows an unliscensed person to keep a pistol in their vehicle without said CHL. Google the law and abide by its provisions, because if there is out-of-gas gridlock, you will need it.

Holy shit guys, this could get bad. Last night I never thought I wouldnt be able to buy gas in a city of 40,000 people right now.

Things are escalating quickly.
