30414761 No.30414761 [Reply] [Original]

I noticed that I went up 100 spots in the top 1000 wallets on https://etherscan.io/token/0x514910771af9ca656af840dff83e8264ecf986ca#balances

People are selling. People that have a million now don't need an unlikely 20x anymore. But what really made me sell was the lack of real usage. I bought because I thought banks, tech companies, and insurance would be utilizing the ecosystem. I've found it's just startups and companies that aren't even in the Russell 2000. This isn't sustainable and the price will probably fall like early crypto mooncoins (DGB, SIA, NEO)

I don't have any advice, just that if you are a LINK OG, I don't get what you're waiting for. It's plain as day to see the megacorps aren't coming. 4 years, very disappointing. I thought i would have more than a million after tax but that's the risk of investing in a startup

We are obviously so close to seeing a massive pump probably 500% at this point. The amount of "I'm demoralized, I'm selling so should you posts" is getting unreal. Its literally like 10-20 per day. Meanwhile the very top wallets are accumulating as normal.

I noticed quietly, but thought maybe they were preparing for staking. That was 5 months ago. In the last 30 days I went from in the high 700's to high 600's in rank. That was enough for me to realize I don't want to be the last person holding the bag. If I waited another month I'd probably end up in the 500's which is ridiculous for what would be a major coin

However, this pleasure was fated to remain short lived and bittersweet, for I must also admit to you, regardless of what distress it may cause to you, knowing you went to great trouble to pen it and deliver it to me, that I in fact declined to open it and refused to read the message contained within. Surmising your intentions, there exists no doubt in my heart regarding your sincere worries for my financial well being, but alas your attempts to convince me to modify my investment strategies shall regretfully remain futile, as my stubbornness in this matter has indeed been sealed irrevocably and no other voice shall rock its imperturbable foundations. Allow me then to reiterate my will once more, and do your best to forever remember it for no change will follow: I shan't part ways with my beloved asset for it is my utmost belief that I have invested wisely and foresee infinite potential in its future, and therefore no other possession in this world shall change my decision, not even a mountain of gold! So much this

Bunch of 4channers tried to force it as /ourcoin/, during the presale ico phase of chainlink there was a minimum requirement of 300eth to enter the presale. Bunch of anons pooled up together and shared presale links to fill them with their eth.

Coin continued to get shilled and pumped up and hyped for the sibios event that link was attended, whole event turned out to be a flop chainlink had a presentation in a room of like 18 people next to the public toilets, literally no news or partnership came from the event and the coin dumped back to below ico prices and created 1000's of bagholder anons.

Now during this alt bull run lots of anons and took advantage of this and shilling this coin to all the new money and newfags that joined in december and don't know this story.

The coin is HEAVILY manipulated and the supply is dried up from huge whales who accumulated below ICO price to create a artificially lower supply (a lot like REQ) and these people have so much room to dump on all of you faggots to still be in profit when the time comes.

In regards to actual project that chainlink aiming to achieve it's nothing more than a basic json parser for smart contracts, would take like a day to add to ethereum by itself.. literally making links whole concept pointless and definitely no need for a token. Would take a lot longer to get it working with bitcoin but the bitcoin core devs would be able to work out the solution a lot quicker than chainlink will, think that's something worth noting that literally nothing is completed and you're literally just buying a whitepaper, they have only 2 developers and they don't communicate at all with no proven background on either, in fact sergey was involved in a project before chainlink called NxT that he since been abandoned until it was took over by a new developer team

>> No.30427578

he's right though.
who is using chainlink other than other crypto scams?

>> No.30427637

Reminder.
In 5 days this address is selling it's last batch of linkies. The 50 Million will have been drained.
If the others don't immediately begin dumping I bet link will skyrocket.

I sold my LINK in january after holding it since 2017. I took half out to put in real estate, stocks and PMs, and I reinvested the other half into other worthwhile cryptos.

Is anyone here actually dumb enough to believe OP? There are many reasons why wallets would get smaller. In case you haven't noticed, this year something called defi has become pretty big. It turns out that if you give custody of your crypto to a defi protocol, you can earn passive income via annuities. The problem though, is if you take some tokens out of your wallet, your wallet has less tokens in it, therefore your wallet rank goes down. Crazy right?

Should consider looking at alink and similar top wallets. Would require too much autism but a lot of guys split up their wallets because being so high on the list makes them nervous. If people are really selling you expect to see a concentration in exchange wallets or the big unidentified wallets that are accumulating for some reason. It looks like they are getting split up and put in defi or rug pulls like blockfi. Not necessarily bullish because it's a sign people grow tired of waiting on steaking, but it has to be acknowledged that they aren't selling and their must be a reason they continue to hold.
I'm not expecting news this week but it's been awful quiet lately. With link big stuff seems to come out of nowhere following long silences like this. If arbitrum pulls through steaking is probably not long after. I think this old dog still has a few tricks and I can't bring myself to miss it for maybe 1.2m after taxes.

No we are not selling.
We are just farming some interest in multiple DeFi and CeFi platforms or using it as collateral for a loan because it's becoming harder to increase our stack size without doing this.
My biggest wallet is still in the top 300.
