The average house price is 11x the average salary so aside from working 11x harder what is the actual solution to making it within the next 5 years?

Why does life feel like a never ending serfdom where you never achieve anything apart from existing ? Moving to EE is not a solution.

>what is a mortgage
Anon, unless you're very fortunate most people will never buy a house outright. You have more than enough to put down a large deposit and get a house via a mortgage. And while you may consider it "cucked" or whatever to be in debt, remember that your mortgage is on the price of the house the day you buy it, so as time goes on and your house value goes up, you become more and more in the green.

We have orders from Rishi to come after all of you. Furlough scheme is costing us hundreds of billions and we need to get it back.

Crypto hoarders are the prime target since you lack connections, and are mostly young males who will be fine without your masses of unearned gains regardless, unlike for example taxing pensioners for whom their homes are all they have.

You are a slave to your own ambition and greed, that's why you feel like a serf.

You could be living in a fully paid off luxury 2 bed flat or cottage right now anywhere in the UK if you went somewhat rural, in a village with nice countryside. You could have an 18 year old GF from the council estate who has a high base IQ but never had many opportunities, never been abroad or even to a city, who basically sees you as her saviour. You would need like £600 a month to cook for yourselves with the best ingredients money can buy and drink great wine. You could have a campervan and go on long holidays throughout Europe. Your total costs could be less than £500 a month each. That's less than half of minimum wage take-home. By the time your kids are 10 and need a third bedroom you could have saved enough to buy yourself a farmhouse through your remote job.

But you won't ever have this, because of your ambition. You NEED a great sounding job, a great 4 bed house in a popular place, flash clothes, city life. You need all this because you identify with it as your source of validity. This is why no matter how 'well off' you are, you will never be wealthy.

It's not comfy as in the sense of that you don't do much, it's a very demanding job and you'll work long hours, easily 50 hours a week even as a developer.
Hiring process is very tough from my experience, I worked there for some years as a trader and I had to get though 7 rounds of applications and was competing with 1200+ people in the first round (CV checks and cover letter), then you have the mental math test at which 90% fail of the people that passed the CV check and cover letter stage. After that 3 more interviews (HR and 2 technical rounds with senior traders) and then you are down to the last 5, of which maybe 1 will get an offer after an entire day (08:00 to 20:00) of assesments and more tests by senior traders.

I worked since i was 16, almost every single weekend for 10 years in barely above minimum wage job. I invested aggressively and lived frugally(shit car, rarely indulging myself) with my parents. Didnt go to uni, just worked constantly.

I knew BTC was a good opportunity, and when i found LINK in 2017 i put 80% of my networth in and then kept putting my paychecks into link.

I knew uni was a meme in this economy so never went, and i knew the beat i could hope for was wage cuck for slightly more money if i went so i found other ways.

average house price is meant to take 20 years for the household to pay off.
if the couple earns 50k together, which is below average, and if they spend half of that on expenses in a year, which is perfectly doable with minor loss of comfort, they can afford an average house within a decade. half the time.
as much as i hate this, house prices in uk are below where they could be.
but, the only upside in middle class being completely destroyed in uk, is the fact that rich cunts go for bigger places, while poor fucks rent for their whole life, so average house prices should not go up by much.
fortunately gorronha has dropped the rent as all airb&b are (still) getting in on the rental market, meaning we'll either see a mortgage crash, or a drop in houseprices. in cities, pretty sure suburbs and countryside will see a fast price rise over the next few years.

I'm heading out. I will leave with this. Any job you will go for after school will be an engineering job, now think, do you right now have the capacity to sit in front of a few engineers in an interview and solve a problem that they give you. Have you built anything complex and useful, something that resembles anything that is made commercially? Do you actually think right now you are of really use to anyone? Your education has cost 10's of thousands and I bet you don't actually have any skills to bring to the workforce. If I am wrong then you are absolutely the exception and a chad and can just laugh at me.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend

ok, let's recalculate then.
median disposable income, as in, income you can throw on drugs and hookers, is £29,600.
with that, you can get yourself a 250k house and pay it off in a decade and still have a decent drug-fuelled party once per year.

hi anon, back in late 2019 I made a research into English real estate and found there's a lot of tiny but decent and affordable housing available in Cumbria.
I'm an EE ex-Sovietfag looking to move to the UK in the next 20 years, and I was looking at the housing in English North-West.

Now, you will never get enough cash to buy a house without a mortgage - it's that fucking simple. Save some cash on a down-payment, keep the job and make some money on the side playing with your silly digital tokens or the stock market. Find some pajeet tax accountant in Manchester to do your taxes if you're confused on paying up your fair share. I hate taxes but it's better to save some cash on the side and pay off the taxfags so they can bugger off. I would even encourage you to voluntarily ask for an audit just to show those poor fucks how rich you are and that you got rich without working for the crown.

> Moving to EE is not a solution
Agreed, anon, it's hell. Don't come here. EE is a meme. You will be crushed by never-ending commie-era bureaucracy, the language barrier and confusing and ever changing rules the foreigners have to follow in order to just stay and mind their business. I have witnessed it all.
