Why the fuck does coinbase only give you a 1099 form if you make over 20k gross AND have 200+ transactions when you have to file your taxes for literally any crypto-to-crypto or sale?

Am I basically forced to use crypto tax services to file my taxes? All I did was sell a few thousand worth from my coins (long-term capital gains).

Honestly I don't know how some of you can be smart enough to make money here but dumb enough to DIY your taxes

I am saying aren't sites legally obligated to give you your tax forms for taxable events? Why do I have to meet some absurd bullshit requirements in order to even have access to a tax form, and my only alternative is to use a third party site?
