I'm close to hitting a milly and besides paying taxes and give half to my parents, i have no idea what to do after. thinking of getting invisalign and maybe lasik but after that idk.

Why would you give half to your parents?? They will have to pay taxes on anything over $14k, after you already paid capital gains on the money.... then when they die if there is any left over, you will pay inheritance tax again on the money. if you want to take care of them, buy a house in your name and just have them live rent free.

Don't give half to your parents!!! Find passive incomes with your money and give a yearly allowance to your parents with the income. 4 reasons why:

1) using all your money instead of half will give you way more returns

2) this will allow you to take care of your family for longer and with more money

3) reinvest some of the money every time so your returns become larger for you and your parents

4) giving an allowance instead of a lump sum is what all cultures who take care of their parents in old age do. Learn from their wisdom, there are reasons why they do it like that.

Now that I've made it I want to spend a few years traveling the world and seeing if there are cities out there where I really feel at home. To go out and experience and explore every single place.
Planning to just travel from city to city and country to country and live in Airbnbs for 1-4 weeks, depending on how much I like the place.

I would have already been doing it, but covid19 decided to fuck me over.

I made it and did MSE and now doing Invisalign. Doing some travelling and going to go to a language school for a month or two. Started lifting. Doing some coding projects. But mostly i don't do very much and I waste a lot of time on the internet. Still beats my shitty job (where I also wasted a lot of time on the internet and didn't much work, but at least I don't need to go to the office and generally feel less stressed).

Not really sure what I'll do long term. Probably will learn more languages, learn a martial art, maybe volunteer, but that shit will get boring after a while and I'll run out of things to do.

I got a point where I realized that the only thing that really matters in life is being happy, no matter what the fuck other people might think.

I'm lucky enough to finally be financially independent, so now I've got the time to search for true happiness.
