It's kind of silly to hedge against history.
Crypto has the potential to revolutionize the economy but that doesn't mean it inevitably will.
You should have a stack of silver just for flexing purposes. Maybe get figurines or look into old coins from your area or ancestry. Kintsugi might be of interest to some of the people here.
It sates that kind of silly nostalgic itch people have with stamp collecting or pokemon/baseball cards etc. while at the same time being a long term investment for worst case scenarios.
