you don't have to add a custom RPC now. all you have to do is click "Switch to Matic" on quickswap.exchange and MetaMask will do it for you

Could they connect the layer 1 liquidity pools with the layer 2 liquidity pools in a way?
Perhaps by fractional reserving the liquidity pools on the L2 networks?
Make them artificially bigger than they are and just sporadically transfer from the main pool through the bridge?
