Someone explain COMP to me and why the fuck it's flying around in price so much? I want to justify putting more than $1000 into it to see where it goes but it's so volatile.

I had this shilled to me at work. I checked the price and it was up like 30%. Made a thread about it but no one cared. Waiting for a dip now but I'm over diversified as it is. What do you know about it? Worth reading their whitepaper?

Part of me thinks that the lack of hype with retail investors actually makes this a good buy since it's relatively new and shot up so quickly.
But every time I look at my investment it's either up or down by double digits same-day. I need to know if buying more is a safe bet or if I should break even and divest.
