Repeat both methods once for 5-10mins each with a 10min rest between.
The trick to it is to relax during it and not think about what's going on. You'll think its bullshit until your legs start going mental. Typically there'll be a section with mad movement and then it'll disappear, just move your legs a bit more to find the sweet spot again, if you think you've exhausted it, take a small break and put your legs straight out. Then start again.
