Serious q, How complicated is the ETH 2.0 upgrade? Is sharding even possible and what are the chances that it will work? If something goes wrong, what will happen to the 1.0 chain?

eth 2.0 will instantly be shutdown because of bugs, eth 1 will die because miners will kill themselfs.

Surviving miners will start staking on eth 2.0 but since eth 2.0 breaks they also kill themselfs in the end.

This all takes place in 2045 when eth 2.0 is released
