[fuck landlords No.30028432]

I have a problem with my land owner. Can you guys give me some advice on what to do in this situation?
Basically about 2 days ago i have called my land owner to tell him i'm going out 2 months before our contract expires(May 1st). He answered with telling me to write a resignation letter(untill march 1st) and everything will be fine.
So basically that's what i did today and sent him a picture saying farewell and he replied saying that i need to pay for another month cause i missed some 30day regulation schedule.
I'll now be seeing him tomorrow to deliver the extra monthly.
I would like to convince him to keep my money, is there anyway i can at least keep 50% of the monthly payment, that would be great

When are you moving out? You can't just tell him you're moving Feb 28 and not pay for March and leave in March, you have to give 30 days notice. If he's making you pay April then just don't pay
