What degree do I need to be a banker?

Bankers and accountants will be pretty much obsolete within the next 10 to 20 years

Private Client Banker here at Chase Bank

Branch location will determine your chance of success. You need to be in an affluent area. Need to be comfortable making outbound calls and be aggressive with sales

I have a BA in Finance. They will license you for Series 6, 63 and insurance. This pretty much is what I learned in college

I cleared $200k last year

Check the universities and see what banks recruit from there. UBS recruited heavily out of my college, I applied for a summer intern position, jumped through hoops and got it. Then just not fucking up over the summer guarantees you a grad role. I was 20 and the bitch cunt on deal teams for billion dollar m&a deals. The job sucks dick though and most cunts are faggots. I ended up cross wall DCM which imo is the best place to be in a bank although you need to be ok with being at your desk for 6.50am.

It's sales job. Your ability to sell is more important than your degree. But go for statistics if nothing else.

They got the timing wrong but traditional banks will be done in a decade or two. No need for banks after CBDCs. No M&A either after the socialization of all businesses.
