I read the whitepaper, the idea is super creative, kinda like the pixel ad website

>PAINT is an ERC-20 token, required to draw on MurAll. Just like real-life paint, you can only
use as much as you have to draw on the canvas, and just like real-life paint, when it’s used
it can’t be used again

>MurAll is a digital collaborative mural/canvas/wall measuring 2048 pixels by 1024 pixels
(2097152 pixels in total) that anyone anywhere can draw on. There are no restrictions on what
can be drawn

>In each transaction made on the canvas, tokens are “burnt”, meaning all tokens that are spent
drawing to the canvas are taken out of circulation.

This is very simillar to that man that sold every pixel on his website, and each pixel had a cost of, if I remember correctly, 1 dollar. He sold 1 million pixels and made a million dollar with that.

Accidentally fucked it up, sorry bros.
Thinking about this, since every token is "burnt", supply is going down and (maybe) demand is going up. If it gets a lot of attention for racist artwork, I think it could be possible.

What if someone actually drew a lot of racist paintings, and then spread it on twitter or something that racists are drawing on it, and to stop them (fight racism! or some cucked shit) people have to buy $PAINT in order to draw something not racist and then "defeat" racism?
In the process we can dump our bags on cucked retardeds and make some profity by actually making racist jokes, kek.

>> No.29937601

It sounds good on paper but its retarded. They gave 82% of the supply to already established nft artists who will sell it if they ever even pick up the air drop. Team is selling 15% of supply whenever anyone buys on top of the airdrop tokens. Only leaves 13% of the supply for anyone to buy which the devs have more to dump on you. You need more than 2 million tokens to print an nft. So why would anyone do that who can already make and sell nft for next to free? Any new artists would just be subsidizing established artists to make this "revolution" happen where they monetize free graphics. Most of the existing ones are crap. I like the idea, I really want to like it. But it's just a hand out to tranny artists and if there if ever any real success it will be some shit that was made by the same faggots who buy it.

Warning to any anon who falls for this wanting to make an nft or any money off of this. Wait until it hits the very bottom to buy anything because they will dump on anyone who buys. I lost a lot of money aping into this, which isn't their fault, it was just my low time preference for being dumped on. But it will 100% dump on you. Buy very low and watch it like a hawk. In fact, I would recommend waiting for it to flat line if you actually want to produce an nft with it. But be aware that million coin air drops can be pulled out at any time for the next year. It might make money, one day. But the coin will become more useless the higher the price is. Just my two cents since I bought before I looked closer at the whole thing because I was excited to make an nft on it. But i can't afford it. Would be better to just make your own first unless you are really into buying every pixel you color in microsoft paint.

I don't think you will able to print anything because you can't change default size currently and its .5 per pixel. Also it seems when you go to sell it if you connected to the site, you have to authorize a second uniswap mining fee to pay like $50 paint on top of the eth fee from uniswap to sell it. This is really what made me lose the most because i had 3 failed transactions and by the time i got it to go through, price had already been slashed in half. I wouldn't say its a total rug because money could be made swinging, but it's definitely tipped towards scam for anyone who didn't get an airdrop.

>> No.29939614

When you sell you better be ready to authorize and pay the paint tax or you will get charged for failed transactions and it will slow you down while they sell off ontop of you.

I think I have it figured out, but even though it'll only cost me ~3000 paint tokens (like 3 bucks) to print this, it wants 200 bucks in gas. Not sure if that's just because of the low eth balance in my dummy wallet.
>>29939466

Yeah I was being retarded, but I liked the idea at start and it looks great design wise. Maybe in the long run it will be a gold mine but I lost faith in the idea and just wasn't willing to watch all day at a chance to grab all my money back. I think the .0002 ish it goes down to a couple times every day might be bottom for now until more people sell their airdrop (if they ever do). Or until the devs sell off all their supply or large parts of it are burned. I'm obviously not an expert in this shit but to me it looks like its going down over all and they want the higher % change to draw in people from coin gecko since its so low market cap, even a few eth send it way up. But as soon as night time rolls around (like right now) my money is on it dumping all night. I guess the team isn't morning people. That's been the pattern so far. All the big dumps so far come at about this time and continue until the morning.

>> No.29940663

>>29940124
Yeah to save you guys time: to put stuff on the wall the token cost is cheap but the ETH cost is crazy, so don't bother. Can still probably make some money off the token itself swinging it.

>>29940612
What did you buy at?

>> No.29941019

You have to pay extra paint mining fees for selling it on uniswap, so even swing trading it is subpar to almost anything else.

If you didn't get an airdrop, I wouldn't touch it. The whole project belongs in the toilet, but then the fucking art niggers would probably put it on exhibition for their final exam.

My buy and sells weren't great due to time preference, but they weren't nearly as bad as the actual results. They tax the fuck out of you and fail your transactions if you don't pay extra, and move the price down so fast that you are sure to get front run.

Only decent piece in the collection is a trace of food not bombs logo so I should have guessed it's a borderline hack jack.

I still think it's a cool idea. I just hope paying artists to draw for you works out better than dumping on and taxing people who want to support your project from day one. I guess they get to tax you every time you sell the airdrop, so technically a good design for the team. But not being air dropped means you are likely getting ripped off if you touch it. Anyone who buys and sells even 1 coin will likely never contribute again.

>> No.29943768

you can get like 1,000,000 coins for few hundred

>> No.29945301

It will have more of a chance at being what it wants to be once the price settles even lower. It's not good for trading. It's not fully a scam but it's a rip off if you didn't get an air drop. That's a big ugly mark on the whole project in my eyes. Why air drop to people who won't use it because they already print NFTs? It's the opposite of what it tries to be in that sense.

That's my gripe about it that turned me off to the point where i said fuck the money and the project. Why would you tax the people who would actually buy it to use just to pay for the airdrops to people who won't? Not a revolution, same as every other phoney art exhibit paying phoney artists to hang out in it.

And as far as a coin goes its just another premined piece of shit with hidden fees that go to the devs and airdrop friends.

Good luck with the project but it shouldn't be shilled to investors. Shill to the people who you sent the airdrop to because no one else should buy until after you are done dumping on them and you have lower fees figured out. Ripping people off is just going to make your project disliked and not in a good way.

Funny that this price was posted like 15 minutes before the coordinated dump. Hope anyone considering it checks it out right now.
