Use RSI. People think it only shows oversold (30) and overbought (70). What you'll find is that anything over 50 indicates a bull run. And anything below 50 is bearish. MACD will show the momentum (up or down) depending on which line is above the other. SMA lines can help show the stock trend. So if the stock opens and closes above a 10 day SMA, then it's bullish short term. A 50 day SMA can show mid term, and a 200 day SMA will show long term. You can play with these numbers, like using a 5 day instead of 10, or a 360 day instead of 200. ADX can show momentum as well. Anything over 25 indicates a strong bull or bear run. Bollinger bands are good for seeing trend reversal, meaning the stock price will bounce off the bands.

So lets put this all together. (For my swing trade setup) I'll screen stocks that open/close over a 10 day SMA, and a 360 day SMA. A MACD with a difference greater than 0.1. Price direction that has increased over the last day (or longer). And an RSI over 50 (or that has just crossed over 50). This will find stocks (like HAS and DNLI) that have a good chance of entering a bull run.
