A word of caution regrading Polygon/Matic

Look, I love this project. It's probably going to be in the top 20 soon, this isn't FUD.

Token Metrics guy pointed out the other day that over 50% of this coin's market cap is being traded right now (compare daily volume to total cap) This means that less than half of it's cap is being heled long term and most of it right now is in the hands of speculators.

By comparison, most coins see anything from 10-20 % of their cap being traded daily.

While Polygon has been absolutely awesome during this dip I think it's going to pump hard in the next little while and them dump down epically until it finds it's new floor between 12-18 cents as speculators will move on to the next thing.

Again, a great long term hold but if you're buying in right now be very careful.

Some guy who turned 20k into 5 mil during the last bullrun started a company called token metrics which you can use to gets info on low cap coins that might pop. I'm not shilling his product but his YT channel is pretty good.


He advocates long term holding of good quality micro cap gems as opposed to trading. Generally he gives good advice for people pursuing that strategy.

volume vs MC tells nothing about how much is "being heled long term"
even $10 worth of MATIC can create a volume of $1000 if it's bought and sold 100 times
it's not unusual to see volume being greater than market cap
