for more information on what the Faster Payments Council is up to, check out this snazzy lil blog

https://fasterpaymentscouncil.org/blog/1492/FPC-Members-Use-Town-Hall-Series-to-Shape-Direction-of-Faster-Payments

In an effort to address questions about the Federal Reserve’s recently announced FedNow℠ Service and engage in dialogue on the many considerations that come with the new real-time gross settlement system, the FPC hosted a three-part Town Hall series. Each Town Hall had its own focus, allowing for conversations on the technical components (read my earlier blog post) and proposed characteristics of the Service, directories and interoperability to support ubiquity, and fraud mitigation activities to help ensure safety and security.

checked. you'd better start believing in the catch, you are experiencing it right now (having to hold while everything else pumps and everyone calls you a crazy fool for holding onto a crypto that's being sued by the SEC)

now check this out:
look at (pic related) then read
https://www.volantetech.com/document-downloads/iscs1GYVQiqRqSoGoe7h-vol-pay-ripple-processor-module-uk-final-pdf

(pay attention to where it says XRP in big letters in the middle of the diagram showing how money moves through it)

then check this out:

then, don't even read this website, just look at the logo
https://iso20022migration.com/

this is going to be so cartoonishly, ridiculously huge. and we're the only ones who realize it! while everyone else is jacking off about Cardano and Pancake Swap, we are the only ones who are invested in the company that's making the payments platform for the fucking Federal Reserve

You should go all in on mud bricks, that's the real guarantor of value. The jews don't want you to know this, but the mud bricks at the quarry are free, i have over 9000 mud bricks in my room right now, you can even eat them, the haitians are famous for their mud and clay based fine cuisine. Flare =/= Flare Finance, learn the difference, it could save your funds.

Flare being a legitimate project
Flare Finance a Flare piggybacking (even impersonating) slightly more advanced pajeet scam (the outcome is potentially more lucrative vs a food token getting spammed in the catalog, so even these sexually frustrated units engaged in cooperation, see the many posts they make, which are completely gibberish and mostly talk between themselves)

anyway, where can a concerned model citizen report such an occurance, to whom do I report said Flare Finance as a disgusting peoples scam fishing for the vulnerable?

>it even infiltrated the OP
guys...

It is vibrating. The matchbox is being emptied as we post. Once is it completely empty the veil will shatter which will ripple through all of eternity and all 13 dimensions causing the lamb to be born anew. The heron will fly higher than ever before, the tiger will bury underground, the mole will swim with the sharks and the monkey will roar louder than the lion. You must listen for the amoeba's call once the last matchstick is ignited if you want to "make it". The string will oscillate in perfect harmony causing the world's tether to vibrate in resonance and finally break. Once the world is molded as the almighty tulip wishes and all darkness is erased the ocelot will roar three times before the gates are closed.

Do with this information as you see fit. Don't tell me I haven't warned you.

Well those pipes only bend once so when i took out the washer i had to cut and replace the whole line. Just cut it at the break, put a brass T adapter on it in soldered it all together. Dont let the internet scare you with soldering brass to copper or soldering in general. It was stressful but man rewarding when there is no leaking water lmao. Putty didnt work in the slightest for me though. And electrical i just started dabbling in so i have no clue there!

these CNY were IOUs traded using a trustline.
so what he's saying is that there's no way to verify if these CNY were real, or if someone was spamming the network.
all it requires to send CNY IOUs is the sending party to issue the CNY, and the receiving party to accept them.
the only thing that would suggest these are valuable or true IOUs is if they burned a significant amount of XRP doing these tests/transactions.
however we need to find that transaction on the XRPL to see how much is burned....I wouldnt trust a random anon and their screenshot. Link to the transaction, then we'll talk >>29912573

Anyone can issue their own tokens from a wallet address on the XRPL. The tokens are only as good as the reputation of the issuer.

If you want to receive those tokens, you have to explicitly set a trustline on the ledger from your wallet to the wallet issuing the tokens. I can't just send tokens I've created to your wallet for the lulz - you'd have to explicitly agree to trust my address to receive them.

I could issue a ton of stupid worthless tokens, and then transfer them among a bunch of wallets I control, and I'd have to pay XRP network fees for the privelege. It's meaningless.

"How Bitcoin's vast energy use could burst its bubble"

https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-56215787

> The CCAF team surveys the people who manage the Bitcoin network around the world on their energy use and found that about two-thirds of it is from fossil fuels.

> "They want to get that revenue," she tells me, "and that's what's going to encourage them to introduce more and more powerful machines in order to guess this random number, and therefore you will see an increase in energy consumption," she says.

> And this vast computational effort is the cryptocurrency's Achilles heel, says Alex de Vries, the founder of the Digiconomist website and an expert on Bitcoin.

> All the millions of trillions of calculations it takes to keep the system running aren't really doing any useful work.

> "They're computations that serve no other purpose," says de Vries, "they're just immediately discarded again. Right now we're using a whole lot of energy to produce those calculations, but also the majority of that is sourced from fossil energy."

> "If Bitcoin were to be adopted as a global reserve currency," he speculates, "the Bitcoin price will probably be in the millions, and those miners will have more money than the entire [US] Federal budget to spend on electricity."

> "We'd have to double our global energy production," he says with a laugh. "For Bitcoin."

Expect this type of rhetoric to ramp up amongst the mainstream this year, and for legislation to eventually follow...
