short term pain for long term gain.

I hate working but I also hate sitting at home doing nothing and being depressed, at least working someone is paying me to do pointless shit

Does anyone else unironically want to get transported to the Apu Apustaja Fren world reality?

Find something thats work from home, easy to do, or is part time. Out of college I had a very easy claims analyst job that was 9-5 and paid 20/hr. You can do that no problem.

i'm 30 and have a job at a grocery store doing work i could have done when i was 14; words cannot fully express how utterly humiliating it is

no one else will hire me; i dropped out of college and have no other skills, talents, or aptitudes

i have only myself to blame but it still feels bad, currently saving up for a gun so i won't have to exist anymore

dunno how it works in the your country. in my country you can still finish school later in life. although it is harder of course since you have other resposibilitys.

I'm a tradie, I just genuinely enjoy hanging out with the guys at work. Never a boring day and they are good guys. Bosses love me because I do good work. IDK, it's comfy. That said, my goal is still to not have to work so I can live in rural America and still make decent money. Or, you know, maybe move to PR. ;)

How long do you have to wage for in a bitch level job before getting something you can use brainpower for?
>no job through high school or uni, eventually got proper full time job aged 21
>admin work in government office
>been here for one and a half years
>overperforming far beyond what I'm meant to be doing because admin work makes me want to kill myself, so I do analysis instead
>still on 70k/year which is fucking nothing in Australia
I want some comfy wfh job but not sure I have enough experience yet

So in USD that's 54k pre tax, 38-39k post tax

i don't think i could handle a skilled trade job, my health is poor enough as it is, and my autism will likely result in tensions with blue collar coworkers

it also just doesn't appeal at me at all, like how is being a plumber or whatever any less demeaning than being a retail wagie; you work in shitty conditions and the prevailing attitude is to relish it? sorry, i just don't have the mindset for it

i think what i should have done was tried to get on disability 10 years or so ago but now i've proven i can handle a wagecuck job so odds are i won't get shit

30% taxes? around the same as here. looked up conversionrates for aud. yeah i understand you. i currently aim for 2,8 - 2,9k usd after taxes otherwise i see no point in working. with that salary i would be able to invest 1,5k per month. still not much but you have to start somewhere i guess.

Same. I should be more thankful for my comfy job but I cant help but to feel im wasting the best years of my life.
I'm thinking about telling my boss I want 6 months off. Idk if thats cool, or how that will be received but I need to do something. I'm miserable

Well be glad you can still invest in crypto. although I'm a zoomer neet newfag adjusting to the cryptospace, the shithole bank I have called chase hates crypto cause they have an ultra boomer worldview. also need to buy the trezor model t which will take at least a week to deliver. fuck why is this shit so hard?

Who cares if no one wants to hire you? Humans didn't evolve to sit in cubicles performing pointless tasks. The less conformative you are, the more human you are imo. Don't kill yourself /bro/.

Strive for FIRE (financial independence retire early). There are people in America who retire young with $250,000 in stocks and live off $10,000 per year. They're healthier and happier than most of us.
