I just watch numbers go up, if a coin is getting copypasta fuded into oblivion I research the project and buy. Also, market cap, tokenomics, technology implications, marketing, usefulness (token actually needed), scalability, locked liquidity, known team and hopium are all important. I think what works best if you completely divorce yourself from the money invested, I just treat it as "gone" so it doesnt phase me at all when the market crashes or it moons really. I have to hold over a year anyway in order for the profits to be tax free. It's all just numbers going up and down and if I loose it all I atleast took a shot at making it.
