Personally I meditate or do mindfulness for at least 15 min a day. Basically you just close your eyes and focus on something arbitrary like your heart beat or a physical sensation. Just let thoughts come and go let them be fleeting. Eventually you get to a point where you kind of cease to exist. Its like fasting for your brain. It takes some practice and its hard to do if you are on a lot of various stimulants IE caffeine, nicotine etc. To be fair, I'm also incredibly sure of the assets I'm holding in the long term and that helps ease any short term problems. I watched my networth go from price swing in the thousands, then to tens of thousands, and now hundreds of thousands, and next it might be millions. I know its just part of the process I guess.
