People are dumb. They prob think its worthless, and it kinda is. But no more worthless in reality than that paper money backed by absolutely nothing real or money in an account that doesn't exist either but a bunch of 1s and 0s.

My normie friends are mostly buying btc and eth but some are buying stuff like xlm and the older altcoins. I try to tell them about new projects but they all think its too risky.

Everyone in my friend group got in at the same time with the GME/Dogecoin craze.

I'm the only one that uses this website though. I figured I'd snoop on /biz/ to get a better idea of how this shit worked. Friends are unironically shilling Doge. A few of them bought Rubic. My friend who does boomer stonks went in the most. Got a lil 5k stack and it's the only crypto he bought into. Didn't even FUD when it crashed (he actually bought on the initial moon) and did some more research. Bought more on the dip.

This board is probably the best return I've gotten with my time lurking here. This place will teach you many things very quickly if you know how to filter information or to use as a resource to find other resources.
