I think these numbers are genuinely undervalued.
If Cardano does what it's supposed to do it will replace everything in our society. It will have a bigger market cap than Amazon, Facebook and Google combined. It will replace all of those companies and more, in fact. It will replace nearly all banking.
People say "it's speculative" because it's not even on mainnet yet. Well maybe it is but the reason people are speculating on it is because of just how big the potential payoff is.

ANYONE at this point can hobble together some smart contract support. I have a pretty basic knowledge of coding and I'm convinced I could create a smart contract-supporting coin on my own at this point. That doesn't make your coin a winner, at this point. What's going to matter is who can create a coin that will scale and be secure and become accessible to the masses. Cardano has real answers to those questions, as well as some truly original ideas.
Dude, they are creating a natural language smart contract system, so you don't even need to be a coder to make smart contracts on their platform. They are basically adding an aspect to their platform that will make them like the Wordpress of DeFi and crypto. And that is just ONE aspect of the project.

So no, Charles Hoskinson is not just hobbling together garbage and "shipping it". He's testing and retesting and being empirical about everything, and making sure that the product is one that can stick around and do what it needs to do in the longer term.

And that's why people are getting into it and speculating so heavily into it. But yeah by all means, go buy a coin that can't scale like those others you mentioned. Or one that isn't even truly decentralized (hence insecure) like Polkadot.
