Bitcoin failed. It's a slow, expensive, centralised chinese owned shitcoin.

China owns over 65% of the hash power. Confidence in Bitcoin can be destroyed by:

1) 51% attack
2) 21% BDOS attack

China is capable and likely to execute both of these in the event that they wish to launch their own state issued crypto.

Everything that Bitcoin aspired towards has now been achieved by Avalanche:

1) Massive decentralisation
2) Near instant transactions
3) Incredibly low cost of transactions
4) Instant immutability
5) Low node cost
6) Low energy consumption
7) Smart contracts on the EVM
8) Subnets
9) Scalability
10) Cross-chain bridges
11) Deflationary supply, even more deflationary than Bitcoin
12) No selfish mining problem

I had fun riding the Bitcoin train since 2013 and used to be a die hard maxi but sorry Adam, it's old tech and all of the hard lessons you and Vitalik have learned in crypto have been studied in incredible detail by Emin and his team which has led to the next gen tech that leaves Bitcoin and its contemporaries (yes that includes shitty fucking Cardano, Polkadot, Solana and the remaining trannycoin cohort) in the dust.
