In order for it to 100X in a month it would need a market cap twice that of bitcoin. So no. It's not gonna do that. But eventually it has an extremely high probability of eclipsing bitcoin as the dominant crypto and at that point it will be worth WAY the fuck more than bitcoin and can go WAY the fuck more than 100X even.

What is the market cap of Apple? Like 1.5 trillion or something? Whatever DeFi coin "makes it" and ends up being the thing everyone will use will be worth easily 1000X that market cap even, when all is said and done. Easily. Probably even way more. We are ultimately talking about an extremely potentially large payoff. I think that's part of why people like it so much. Is Cardano speculative? Sort of. But even if it doesn't end up worth fucking millions in a few years, it's still extremely likely to have made you a lot of hefty profits in the worst case scenario.

Well, I will admit it is somewhat speculative since the mainnet isn't even fucking technically live yet. So whatever. You can say what you want. You can say it might suck. I'm not sure. But whatever. Eventually something has to come along to replace ETH and make crypto accessible to the masses and Cardano clearly seems like the best bet right now.
You could choose Polkadot too, but the problem with it is that it's not truly decentralized. Sooooo...that is a really big longterm hurdle that sort of defeats the entire purpose of the technology and will ultimately render it not secure, whereas Cardano is being designed for maximum decentralization, without even locking up peoples staking ADAs, and thus achieving maximum security.

I bought GRT at .80 and sold at like 2.20 or something. I don't remember exactly. It was cool it only took a couple weeks for it to make those returns.
IDK what the price prediction will be because of the coin rollout schedule. They are releasing an awful lot of coins coming up pretty soon. In like a month or something. People could sell it off and crash the price.
But it's a good technology so it will probably be used in everything going forward. I own Cardano and Cardano will almost certainly end up using GRT. Everything is gonna use GRT. And there's not much competition for it.

It's a really good coin. Don't have a solid price prediction, though.

OK well we will see. It's worth noting that the reason they don't have a working smart contract is because they aren't rolling out bullshit. They're committed to NOT rolling out bullshit that won't scale in the longterm, which is what Vitalik Buterin did with ETH.
That's why people are speculating so heavily on Cardano. It's like "Wow, you mean for the first time someone is actually developing this technology and isn't just going to fucking throw it out to the wind and say boom lets hope it flies?".
That is worth a lot.

And they are supposed to be rolling out those smart contracts, finally, in the next few months. + Mary hardfork is going live in just a few days.
