i've infiltrated the LINK whale discord group that's behind the suppression. they cashed out at $27 and a rival group pushed the price to $37. now they're systematically coordinating dumps to get it back down to buy in again. there are rumour of a $200 LINK by mid april. but they're probably wrong, extremely low IQ in there. where should i go from here? been playing these two groups against eachother since july 2020.

How does one "suppress" the price without losing money? This narrative is BSV tier retarded.

If you had a large enough volume of shorts driving the price down (ust so they could buy at a lower spot price), their spot purchases would, best case scenario, net out the downward price movement accomplished by monster short volume. More realistically, they'd end up losing money.

The only players that van really manipulate prices ate exchanges. Whales can do nothing. In fact in any market (ask pension funds and endowments) being too large an investor is a disadvantage.

this is more retarded than the xrp schizo threads. The price manipulation is primarily coming from the dev wallets dumping to pay for price feeds. This is a necessary expense because they need to have the network built out to a certain extent before other sevices are feasible. Think about what would happen if the link network went live today for derivatives and fucked up, either by not doing sufficient pen testing, or not having the network sufficiently capitalized/decentralized. Would the project survive? Maybe, but it would be a massive setback. This slow build up is necessary to make sure we don't hit any catastrophic roadbumps down the line. With OCR out we'll start seeing new supply dry up, and the price will naturally rise to a new level.
