If you understand the big picture, you realize just how precious yield is. It is very, very hard to get a safe yield of 5% right now. Basically impossible--which is why we see equities doing what they're doing.

In DeFi is this laughable. Even the most stable protocols are routinely double this. Most here are still in the pragdigm of buying some token from a whitepaper that promises the world and then delivers nothing and hoping of dumping it on someone else, but those of us who see the big picture are comfy as fuck.

Arbing tradfi/defi yields is the biggest trade in the world right now.

You probably live in some comfy western country so it's not so obvious to you but if you travel to some shit hole and see how they have to bank and move their money you'll see the immense opportunity there where people with a smartphone can control their shit from anywhere. I think it'll be invasive. People/companies will use defi without realizing it through centralized middlemen they are more comfortable with.

The financial industry will embrace it and offer the fruits of its improved yield and reliability to a hungry customer base. It gives them a competitive advantage to do so.
