I just realised I can never actually touch my crypto. What are we all doing?

trading with each other and cashing out to fiat for living expenses, for fun toys, and to diversify to other assets

in a way its a good thing
you can buy a lambo and a mansion with numbers on a screen

And when I receive those assets, whatever they will be, it will be as if they were free, and I won't feel rewarded at all.

With how much bitcoin costs, you can just sell 1btc to mint some elaborate good coin that has the address to a wallet with 1BTC engraved on it.

That might make me feel better.

Then that's on you and your retarded brain. A life of wageslaving will be more 'rewarding' for you for sure. If you try extra hard, maybe your bosses will even praise you! Just sell now and stop making stupid threads.

You've failed to understand the implication on the lack of tangibility of value in our lives.

someone should start selling physical bitcoins for as much as they're worth

my buddy Andrew gave me $100 of coins though? I pushed on into the slot near the usbs, just waiting for it to process :)

What do you mean? you trade on Robinhood?

>> No.29569441

>>29569245
No I mean that so much of our lives is intangible these days, just abstraction. Whether you work an office job, or even many 'physical' labours, it's just a mouse wheel. We're in crypto get away from that, to escape our wagie lives, but crypto is the most abstract and absurd thing of all. Humans aren't mean to live like this. If we 'make it', we won't leave, we're here forever. And we'll have a pot of nothing to show for it.

>> No.29570077

>>29569441
It's different for everybody. If I had 1 full Bitcoin I would feel like its tangible. Even though it's not for the definition. I know I will never escape the wage, even if its a pipe dream I have, you should chase things that are tangible instead like a car that you like or a gun that you like, or building a computer or even ricing the shit out of the software on your computer, these things are almost tangible to me cause they're mine, if that's what you're into

>> No.29570592

>>29570077
I sort of used to get that, but the older I've gotten the more I find it slips through my fingers. Just think these idea-assets we've made are shifting sands.

>> No.29570601

>>29569441
I'm off some speed so that probably made no sense, but my point is that, if you aren't trading on some shit platform, you do own it, it's yours, thats kinda the whole point, even if you can't touch it.

>> No.29570681

>>29570601
Yeah, I at least do this. Always have. Not your keys, not your wallet, and all that.

>> No.29570741

>>29570592
Yeah, I guess, it helps to have a bigger idea, not saying you don't, I didn't find crypto cause I wanted to stop waging I like the tech and it does allow you to own something in my eyes, it is the most powerful currency to have. Maybe i'm a basedyyyyboy but I actually believe in that shit. Borderless currency is very cool thing to have regardless of the asset part.

I can tell by the way you’re talking that you’re a boomer. I’m sorry but boomers do not understand the Internet, why data is valuable and they seem to have trouble with abstract ideas in general. This thread is just a projection of that and I guess maybe you should go sit in the corner and stack shiny rocks with the other boomers because crypto isn’t meant for you.

I'm mid-20s. I fully understand this market and its implications.
