its healthy to understand the market conditions and pull your money out before a correction anon. It's not healthy to become delusional that hodling for years is comparable to trading the 30m charts

Boomers are unironically right if they say that time in the market beat timing the market. Just hold and you might have to hold bags for a long time and you might miss out on many other earning opportunities that will make other people very very rich BUT you will be right there when it picks up again to slowly accumulate your tiny gains. You gotta play the long game. That's how all boomers became rich and also extremely selfish assholes. It's everybody for themselves. If I could stab you in the back to get one more pump out of my shitcoin, I'd do it.

Raising capital through day trading is a different art and considered income.
I would say the ideal position is long. Mostly because the average almost always beats your trading profits. However there are times where time and gains are of the essence. I say they are different strategies for different purposes. People like buffet and bogle operate funds so they are going to be more conservative with their clients money while still making a profit. Hedge funds take more risk it's a bit more like gambling but with really good intel and huge lines of credit. Try reading Reminiscences of a Stock Operator sometime.

Because you probably still have another 200K. You're stable in life. These 1-10K pink wojaks are people that put their lifesavings into a coin while it's mooning and thus loose everything when it crashes. Buy high, sell low, people literally ruining their lives.
