The guy who said stay the course would never get penalized for what would have been a six-figure loss because it fits the narrative and their existing understanding. When it hits there biases it wasn't a factor of making the wrong choice, it was a factor of getting unlucky.

It's funny because I've asked people who are pro masks to show me a single RCT study that masks work in the general public to prevent viral infections. Never happens. Why? Because they don't exist. The whole corona thing has been infuriating to talk to my mom about. I tell her that her chance of dying, as someone in their early 60's, who's thin, healthy, and has ZERO pre-existing conditions, is like 0.01%.
