>those boomers who missed out/floundered opportunities and ended up being broke into old age
>tfw this is going to be me because I missed out on btc

Fucking god damn this is a hard pill to swallow. I missed the boat. I saw the prices "Oh, BTC $600. Huh, cool."- instead spent my money on video games, instruments and other devaluing trash. I fucking missed it. A simple investment of $1200 when I was 19 could've turned into $100k+... and I fucking missed it. Now I'm going to have to grow old and watch my generation who took advantage of the bitcoin boom live the life I can only dream of.

You'll have the opportunity to buy in at $10k in 2022 but you won't because you'll get scared.

Absolutely is happening. Maybe even earlier.

you would have sold it on a 2x

I saw the price at $4, never bought it.
It has the same problems since then, however if I didn't care about the tech I would be a billionaire by now.

no one can predict the market

your life situation wouldn't have changed while you were holding it

you would have sold at 2x, 3x, or 4x

I unironically bought bitcoin in the double digits. Then spent spent all of them on drugs.

Now I'm poor.

All the boomers needed to do was pay off debt, vote for low taxes and not max out credit. I hardly call that an opportunity.

I knew about bitcoin in 2009 and had a feeling for a while it was going to be the next big thing but I never bought. I probably would have done something retarded like that though or liquidated at $1000

>finally just fomo'd in like a fucking stupid normie at $57k

>> No.29485778

This is the only way to cope. I was nowhere near stable enough to hold bitcoin through all these years as a teenager, probably would've cashed out ages ago after one of the dumps thinking it's over. I doubt there are people who got into it randomly in 2010-2012 and held for a decade

If BTC has a monster crash like it did last time, which it won’t, it won’t go below $20k. The low of the crash is never below the high of the previous run.

>> No.29486136

>>29483085
if it goes that low, nobody will be buying because that would mean it's literally over. Is this your first cycle, you're one of the top buyers from 2018 that thinks they're an "oldfag" right?

My mate asked if a few of us wanted to go in together on a few btc when we were like 18. We turned him down

The only way i rationalise it is that 18 yo me would have cashed out at 4x and bought some dank kush or something

It went down to $3k from $20k and people said exactly the same thing that Bitcoin and crypto is dead now because the price dropped so low and I bought into that mindset as well which is why I didn't accumulate.
