Bot trading is the only way to make money it seems. it also seems to be the best way to crash a market as well.

How do I bot trade?
>t. coding illiterate

be a phd in math/probabilities. Work 5 years in the quant business and be a very good C++ developer (or java if you are pajeet). Have solid financial knowledge
Or just start building your own bots at home, depending on your IQ it will take anything between 5 years and 100 years to earn your first profit

>> No.29470469

I’ll just stick to holding.

i'd wager that bots will be illegal in a few years. Governments are already asking the long term implications of allowing code to trade on behalf of humans and what would happen if nothing but bots trade.
a while ago someone argued that at some point the number of bots would result in them all syncing up and trying to trade the same price at the same time resulting in them either pumping a price to infinity instantly, or crashing a price to zero instantly causing total economic chaos.

I doubt that as bots can be highly lucrative and also provide a lot of liquidity. If it ever happens I'd say they'll take the happy medium of buttfucking the average joe and forbidding him to do any bot trading while the hedge funds will keep their toys.

>> No.29470892

>>29470351
Or just pay someone to make the bots for you

Without a doubt that is a very valid piece of advice to give to the average 4channer. He will no doubt have the capital to hire a few quants in order to build him his bot

Or just use BTBB for BSC and TBB for ETH you fucking mongoloid. It's not expensive at all to get a very functional bot that does everything you'd want.

I always think just how irrational I am and just how many factors that I can't account for every time I try to trade.

It's why I've told myself just to hold but then I get burned like here where I lose half my holdings in the span of a week or two when I could have just tethered.

>C++
how can you integrate this archaic language in a modern web app? I'm retarded, although this is the language I've worked with the most in competitive programming

>> No.29471371

>>29470351

not even that hard. self thought myself programming, just some python stuff (took about 1-2 years) took like 1-2 weeks to get into web sockets and API calls.

Difficult part depends on your trading bot. I made one that does arbitrage trading on low volume exchanges. No fancy algos or machine learning needed. Just compare prices, it just buys cheap on one exchange and sends to other exchange where it can sell expensive and occasionally just moves funds to keep liquidity on all exchanges.

>> No.29471489

>>29471013
i know that feel.
also being a salaried wagie, i dont have enough time to read the several dozen forums and have 20+ charts open to watch for spikes or sell offs, so i get burned more often than not. Im kinda at that point that many gamers face in certain games
>if everyone else is cheating, i might as well too
i lack the knowledge to code my own bot so i guess ill just pay monthly for one of the many bots out there. i fucking hate that it comes to this but i've learned i cant trade successfully on my own

I bet that any script kiddie can make a good bot in python in a few months

>> No.29471554

Building a simple MACD cross bot is trivial and you can simulate it on historic data to find the best EMA to use for any bear/bull market, and provides very good results.
Seething retards and lazy fucks will tell you it doesn't work when clearly it does.

buy and hold unironically will make you big gains if you have patience. even warren boomer can tell you that.

How profitable is that strategy and have you explored other algorithms to apply different strategies?

>> No.29472529

>>29471489
your view of bots as cheating is mistaken. Its not like an aimbot that simplifies trading for you. Arguably it makes trading 1000x more complicated, if you cannot get good returns without a bot you will get trashed even harder with one

>> No.29472560

>>29471836

I have explored other strategies using simulations on historical data and seeing which technical indicators give the best results, turned out to RSI. but, although technical indicators are indeed correlated with selling and buying points the 0.0x% exchange fee offsets any profits.

hence I ended up with with low volume arbitrage trading. I am a poor fag, and it is the best way to make money with just 1-2k in crypto since I can literally garner 10-20% profits on some trades. problem is that I am reaching the max that I can squeeze out using this strategy. I need large swings in prices for it to work and there is only so much that I can collect on small volume exchanges.

part of my issue is that being a salaried wagie, i cant devote 12+ hours a day to watching 50+ charts and dozens of sites/forums to keep up on potential spikes or dips. my only time i can is the weekend where most coins do nothing but crab for 50-72 hours. im fully aware that trading is not
>install.
>turn on
>enjoy gains
the last 2 months i was doing well enough with my gains. its just im a greedy fuck and know i could have done better if i could be in several places at once. a bot can do that.

to add, ive lost out on selling peaks or mitigating losses because you cant set both at the same time because i cant actively be at my computer monitoring the price 24/7

Idk specifically anon, but I'd just like to point out I found out Angular is it's own system and NOT a javascript meme after hearing about muh ANGULARJS!

It's actually fucking lit, you program your website and Angular "compiles" it into a website for production. I'm sure there are C++ frameworks out there

c++ is without a doubt one of the best programming languages.

the best feature is its build in retard filter
