So while everyone is AAAAAAAAA posting and panic selling can someone help me better understand ChainStink's current development position:

>OCR allows running chainlink nodes to become actually profitable, resulting in node-owners selling less thereby decreasing the sell-pressure we've seen all bullrun
>We should expect that this would result in more bullish movement until BTC decides to shit the bed completely like in 2018
This is correct right? How much do you guys think this will actually affect price action over the next 2-ish months? When is this update due to be implemented? How can I follow things more closely, do I just look at github since sergey doesn't ever communicate updates?

just buy and hold bud. Link is probably one of the three legit projects in the space that has real staying power.
trade shitcoins for their 10x pumps and then cash out into link

>> No.29400707

the fact that its not a pump and dump shitcoin is amazing , just buy and hold

Well that's what I've been doing with no plans to sell anytime soon though I've been swinging a bit and made some gains. I'm pretty late to the game here, bought at ~$14 2 months ago but just want to better understand how people think OCR will impact price and the project as a whole.

yeah, the idea is the selling pressure should ease. more use, more bullish, but this is an irrational market and fundamentals alone don't matter as much. If bitcorn can climb steadily or go sideways a bit that will be good for alts, but at this point I'm hoping for some unignorable news be it staking, big usecase scenario, etc. properly timed it should be the fuel link needs, but regardless you should be looking to sell at the top of the market no matter links price, which isn't here yet but certainly will be in the not terribly distant future.

I've only really been watching RHOLD ratio and Pi cycle top indicator as proxys for when to sell, anything else you recommend checking out?
I only heard about the OCR development because of threads on /biz/, is there a better place to look for development news?

>price action
probably not much. no genius, but i think link is still generally coupled with big daddy btc.

>When is this update due to be implemented?
i'm pretty sure OCR is up and running now.

>How can I follow things more closely
i guess watch github and continue to rail the opium that this Mongolian basket weaving forum provides

lol please just sell your link now.

I really don't understand this about LINKfags, why would you hold through an obvious dip in the market, especially something as large as a BTC dump cycle. Why not increase your LINK bags?
Are you really telling me if you have 3+ technical indicators that would've informed you that there was going to be a 20% dump this weekend you wouldn't have sold on Friday and bought back in today? It makes no sense.

Because I'll get taxed on my profits with no guarantee that the price will even drop substantially, and the long term investment clock will be reset for me making further sales taxable at a higher rate.
I've held since December 2017. Not fucking selling.

>why would you hold through an obvious dip in the market
you don't really get it at all, that's clear so you don't need to clarify. the reality is a vast majority of us bought in under $1. you likely weren't around for AB, you probably never held this shit through a bear, and you probably aren't familiar with how chainlink will sporadically pump to ATH with no warning.

>Why not increase your LINK bags?
never selling isn't a meme. you are witnessing the dawn of a golden age of DeFi, staking, and the transfer of wealth from a centralized to a decentralized financial system. if you really believe in chainlink, you'd know your chainlink stack is your ticket to the garden of Eden that is financial decentralization.

>you wouldn't take a 20% profit if 3+ meme lines told you number go down?
nah i'm good. i'd rather just continue to buy dips, watch the market, and research who is going to give me the comfiest staking returns for my FAT chainlink stack

Fuck off. Arbitrum is a long way off. Without OCR, there'd be nothing to help LINK for months.

You'll know if it did anything in 3 weeks. That is when the current dumping wallet is 500000 tokens short of the 1.5M dumping and either a new one activates and shows us that the subsidy dumping was about profit taking and will go on forever, or we'll see that the dumping was about the project and might relent long enough for some growth in the token's value.

>bags
Bags used to be a term for positions that were emotionally harrowing to carry because they'd gone down and become "heavy" on the heart. Calling all positions "bags" is new faggotry brought about by ESL and people too stupid to tell the difference between a gain and a loss.
We can't expect you to understand.
