The Stakenet blockchain does not facilitate the cross chain swaps. Lighting and connext are facilitating the swap, nothing is needed by the blockchain. This is why no one cares about it. Also no one gives a fuck about their ‘trust less’ proof of stake, cause it’s not 100% trustless since it relies on a 3rd party that isn’t a smart contract.

I don’t know how they’d fix it, but they’d need to fork the chain to a different architecture like AVAX etc. I mean I don’t think you can just ‘fork’ to that. They’d need to do an entire now blockchain.

And I really don’t think the 4 Ukrainian devs are capable of that. AlexITC has been working on scala-Steward for 7 weeks now according to the GitHub updates.
