ETH2.0 will be the best crypto has to offer. The only problem is WHEN. The delays in phase 0 were so long who knows if this thing will really even come out within the next 5 years. Other projects already have some of what eth promises to have in a long long unspecified time.

ETH is unFUDable. Only retards think high gas fees (high usage) will kill the network. The only real threat is miners not passing EIP1559 or the chain being attacked during the move to PoS. Miners could theoretically hold the network hostage. Otherwise ETH is on track for 10-20k once the merge is live.
