Thats actually bullish. No for real, every btc which is lost makes the remaining btc even more scarce. That why BTC is deflationary. BTC will be lost, because people will send it to the wrong adress or because someone with BTC dies and their family members don't know about it or can't access it

I wonder what all the families of people who killed themselves after the 2018 crash are thinking now, a lot of them would be set for life if they just held and didn't panic. Or bought more while keeping their losses unrealized. But, by not learning from their mistakes, were letting their senseless deaths be in vain.

My brother back in the day used to sell weed on silk road and accumulated at least a hundred bitcoin, maybe two hundred he said. Went to jail for a few years for distribution and when he got out, he literally had no possessions other than the clothes on his back ... my mom put all his shit into the basement and when it got flooded, all his shit was ruined and she threw it all out. Not sure if he could have recovered anything after that anyway, his brain was fried and couldnt remember any passwords and such.
He did turn his life around and now trades over half a million dollars in crypto now, all while driving Uber to get money.

true story fren:
>be me in 2009 in highschool
>carding 1337 script kiddy
>buying wow gear on private servers and other digital stuff because too much of a pussy to buy physical shit and go to jail
>fren tells me about bitcoin
>got a file of at least 500 CCs of japanese people I got from an sql injection hack on a jap site because I was watching naruto and visiting jap sites etc
>open google and type how to buy bitcoin
>dmor for a while
>naah it's not worth it I'd rather buy shadowmourne on moltenwow to rekt the poorfags
>November 2017
>migrate from /fit/ to /biz/ like a newfag
>buy link
at least I made it from link so I shouldn't complain, hopefully we moon too because this crabbing is killing me.
if i had just made a wallet in 2009 and bought thousands of bitcoins, I wouldn't have sold because i would've forgotten about it until 2017.
because i had a printer back then and would've printed the private key and hidden it in a drawer with my gameboy pokemon cartridges I still have right now.
i think about that sometimes and how life would've been.
