There are a bunch of things (but not BNB alone). You're best off checking it out for yourself.

Pool = just stake what you have (e.g. CAKE) and it grows slightly.

Farm = stake token+token, e.g. CAKE (which you brought from Binance or you can trade it on PS for BNB). To stake liquidity you need e.g. 50 CAKE and the price of 50 CAKE in BNB to get liquidity tokens which you then stake. You can split those tokens into CAKE and BNB later again if you want to get out. Liquidity staking has higher returns but is also riskier due to "impermanent loss" but do not let the impermanent fool you, you can lose permanently if things go south (e.g. if CAKE dumps you lose BNB too).

Keep at least 60% in BNB, those shitcoins are highly volatile and the pair Shitcoin/BNB can tank really hard in a matter of minutes, while the Shitcoin/BNB recovery is long and nearly always happens on a BNB pump (so usually a very small % Shitcoin/BNB gain over time).

Never fuck around with liquidity pools/token. Again, market too volatile, you'll risk too much due to impermanent loss.

Just go for simple staking: CAKE (the Uniswap of BSC), BAKE (utter shit yield so just don't), EGG, Pand Yield BBOO ... etc. The high yield staking are mostly scam though so be wary (or sometimes just misleading, eg the 100000% APY of CAKE on PancakeBunny is just the standard CAKE staking on PancakeSwap but with auto-compouding)
