If you are indeed a good trader and just made one stupid mistake then you can make back the money
leaving biz and focusing on trading could help with the shitcoin FOMO
I'm considering doing the same

I was too stubborn to let ETH go before I recovered my 40k plus loss that week. Not gambling, I started with 100$ two months ago on my btc trading account and never made a major fuck up.

Lesson to be learned here, never trade an absolute shitcoin like ETH and I hope it fucking crash and burn by getting overtaken by a competitor.

Yes, but I have 4 years of leverage trading experience and getting rekt by Arthur. It was such a pain in the ass that I'm not starting again anytime soon but next time with btc only it's going to be better for sure. Leverage is really the best way to make money if you get used to it and have the balls to do it.

Seriously the absolute state of biz.
It's actually safer to gamble on shitcoins than do this leverage shit at anything higher than 3x.
Good job lasting this far.

I would suggest finding you own style and leverage, I don't use TA because I think it's bs, I'm only using the price action. The best way to learn is to lose until you get it.

Every. Single. Time.

It's cool you turned $100 into mid 5 figs, but maybe consider not being a degenerate?

>> No.29256258

Same. Lost 2 ETH anon. thought i could just read the graphs, but got caught with 15x leverage at 1400, and it crashed to 1270, hit my liquidation perfectly and then decided to moon eventually.

learnt my lesson, bought a measly amount of btc, like $100, and now trading it to grow $10 every few days. feel much more comfy, and can go sleep at night with low leverage and comfy gains.

>$220,000,000
>Small Market Cap

That's not a small market cap compared to the alt coins. When The market dumps, ETH and BTC usually only dump around 5-10% and that's even after only pumping 15-20% previously. Now I can understand your frustration with ETH (Everyone is frustrated with ETH, especially ETH HODLers) but it sounds like you used the same Strategy for leveraging BTC to leverage ETH/Alt coins and thats not a good strat. Even though ETH and BTC are tied to the hip, ETH is still a bit more volatile. If you bought ETH for $100 last March, you would be up 20x by now. Sure ETH has underperformed recently but even Ethereum will catch up soon. They always catch up after being suppressed for a while. The move will be more explosive some think. This is just a testament on how important it is to just HODL. What you should have done was only taken a small percentage of your BTC gains to buy into ETH, say maybe 10-15%. Then if we dipped, you could have taken out another 10-15%. Point is, never trade with more then 10-15% of your portfolio at a time .

But I think we all are feeling the ETHEREUm frustration atm. We all expected ETH to be at least $2500-$3000 by now. I think the fact that everyone was so bullish on ETH and so determined it would go up that now was a good time to short and manipulate to catch everyone with their pants down

>>29256963
Some believe the suppression is being perpetrated by "muh financial institutions!" and they are just trying to keep ETH cheap so they can continue to accumulate before ETH has its BIG bull market rally, which I still think is coming. Remember, when BTC finally topped out in 2017 and started to finally correct into a bear market, we saw ETH do the opposite and went super bullish from $600 to $1400, and that was AFTER it went from $7 to $400. Everyone is sleeping on ETH while its getting FUDed to death. Patience is key. ETH isnt BTC and its not an ALT. ETH will go ballistic soon. like I said, no matter how much a crypto is getting suppressed, it still finds a way to catch up after so long

>> No.29258481

>>29257953
Yeah, IMO BTC/ETH/XMR are the three real long term crypto but I'm not going to financially suicide on ETH hoping for THE 100% pump a day anymore. I have some DPI which is tied to it, so let's see what happens.

>> No.29258869

>look at all this money I made before I lost it the same way.
Listen man, I get it, it's a thrill. I swing my shitcoins for a kick; I may even sell a pump and buy the correction on my long holds. Maybe next time you margin trade $100 into $50k you'll have a moment of clarity and partially stake some of your gains instead. It's impressive what you did, and equally retarded was the way that you lost all your progress.

>>29256523
Fuck off zoomer, I hope you lose position every time you swing. It has its place, but basing your investment strategy around it is cave brained.

>> No.29259028
