29210880 No.29210880 [Reply] [Original]

Seen a lot of posts about AVAX adaptability and how it's supposed to surpass ETH in the way it handles transactions, but there is someone here who can actually confirm if is viable right now?

I trust in ETH but I have some doubts. I've read a couple articles about it but I'm not entirely convinced.

Avax is dead in the fucking water lmao, just pick a random food coin on pancakeswap and farm that

>> No.29211266

I've read in an article that the double spend issue didn't happened at all since the very own exchange didn't allowed to make double transactions, due it being three-way protected (regarding the three main chains in the network)

I still don't have it really clear tho

Well you can either trust one Chinese man not to rug pull you or a large team of people from Cornell Uni, Google, Microsoft, NASA, etc to deliver the greatest platform in crypto.

I've been in crypto since 2010. The projects I put money in early were BTC, ETH, LINK and AVAX is more impressive than all of them. A lot of Chinese paid FUD on here because it is going to put cz out of business.

I own avax. But it has economic issues. Total supply is far away from being reached, you should factor this into the mcap.

Also it has a ponsi, pyramid scheme, staking system. Basically stakers will Syphon off the transaction fees, slowly giving stakers a monopoly. But not just that, delegates (low volume stakers) most pay node runners (2k+ avax holders) to stake.

I don't think avax is a scam coin per se. But one can really see the pandering towards whale investors in its staking system.

>> No.29212198

>>29212122
that should explain why it has such a growth recently, right? To attract investors into a trap?

>> No.29212340

>>29212122
This is wrong. Transaction fees are burnt, benefitting the network as a whole. Delegators can pay as little as 2% of their staking fees. Pretty small amount imo.

>>29212340
Didn't thought about it.
It has a way to autoregulate itself, right?

>> No.29212645

>>29212340

Where do you think the x% increase after a certain staking period is coming from?

I can even go into my shitty binance account right now and stake for 14% per annum. Any promise of 14% is either Ponzi or highly inflationary.

>> No.29212798

>>29212645
Staking rewards come from minting of new coins and are proportionate to the difference between max supply and current supply. Get your facts straight. Transaction fees are burnt. End of story.

>> No.29212809

>>29212198

Like I said the tech is good. I don't think avax is Ponzi in that respect. But whoever thought about the economics of the system decided to give Incentives to whales and holders. I suppose the second isn't necessaryly bad.
