What is causing the stockmarket and especially crypto market to soar so much in the past 2 months? There's literally never been anything like it.

Is it because Biden won?

The market crashed pretty hard at the start of COVID. As people realize it isn't as big of a deal as the doomer media made it out to be, it is rapidly picking back up to where things left off and on good stock scenarios, even better. There is profit to be made on EVERY stock that hasn't bounced back after the Mar dip/crash.

TL:DR the stock market is actually operating at a pretty normal rate. It is just having to correct for unnecessary covid dips.

Stock market is totally jewed and too big to fail because too many Shlomos would lose big, and a whole generation of boomers needs it to stay up for retirement, plus local/ state/ federal pensions. Crypto has some correlation but the normies see how rigged the current system is and want to save their assets, plus everyone wants to make it big in the gold rush. Not too hard to see this IMO.

Maybe because interest rates are 0%, forcing everyone to put money into equities to get any return?

Pandemic covered this up to an extent but the penny has really dropped for everyone with half a brain

My portfolio was negative 20,000 in march. I was pissed at all the panic sellers. It wasn't a real recession. That's why I'm scared about the overdue recession. Isn't it supposed to happen every 10 years? Where is it?

Biden winning is part of the reason why this bullrun feels weird. Media hype is just starting now because back when the bullrun started all attention was on the election/protests etc., both in the US both abroad when they're covered as some kind of more entertaining super bowl. Rona is also a big part of it.

If you want to see how this story ends, Google "Weimar Republic"

Kind of fucked up how this century is playing out almost the same as the last one - Spanish flu and antimaskers, Jewish commies infiltrating and ruining everything, ultra-nationaliast backlash, "roaring" 20s

Less money to spend while on lockdown. This idle money plus stimulus packages went to assets of their choice.
This was basically money usually spent on outdoor activities, such as public transport, flights, traveling, hotel, leisure, dating, prostitutes, you name it.
When we are back to normal, these people need the money and will liquidate their assets, it may even trigger a bear market.

Sorry anon, but no. When we get any sense of real life again people will realize most physical shops are gone and most holiday destinations are heavily over-priced to accommodate for losses.

They know this, which is why they are switching to digital currency at the moment.

Is the value of the stock/crypto going up... or is the value of fiat just decreasing so rapidly it gives the impression of the stock/crypto increasing in value?

>most holiday destinations are heavily over-priced to accommodate for losses.

that really doesn't matter. people have more money right now than they know what to do with, which is why they're gambling it on stocks and shitcoins. people will absolutely pay double the price of 3 years ago to go to a bar or concert.
