Started out with 100 fren. It's never too little to start. Turned that into 400 after about a month, dumped half of the stimmy check in and currently sitting at 1850 all in about 3 months. I did put in about 2 years of work into learning TA and how to trade. If this bull run keeps it up for another half a year I'll hopefully have 10k. Winning isn't easy or else everyone would win.

I put 50$ into bao, week later it was 350$. Decided to put that into shib and within a few days it was 16k... but just for a brief moment. I didn’t have the eth for gas fees so I wasn’t able to pull out and ended up cashing out at 3k. Moral of the story is you need to take big risks in the begging, and less risk as time goes on. It is possible to become a millionaire from 50$ in the crypto space but it don’t count on it.

Serious answer anon, yes it is possible and a lot of it is more strategy and using your tools and information right and not just gambling. Crypto is /g/ at its core after all.

Right now:

Avoid ETH Defi, fees will kill you
If you want to get ETH tokens, get them from CeFi, AVAX or BSC
Don't play every fucking shitcoin, look for the ones that have viral potential or some fundamentals behind them (like RBC or BAO)
Look for comparables across chains, don't get into overvalued shit like PNG in the hopes of long-term gains
Don't expect any long-term game on BSC
If you can get into the tech stack and learn to code, many trading strategies are absurdly easy to abuse in DeFi

you can go much simpler anon. look up arbitrage

basically
>take the pairs BTC / ETH, ETH / LINK and BTC / LINK
>say BTC / ETH is 0.04
>also say ETH / LINK is 0.02
>that means BTC / LINK has to be traded at:
>BTC / ETH * ETH / LINK = 0.02 * 0.04 = 0.008
>but those three pairs are independent markets where people might trade differently and BTC / LINK might be 0.007 instead at the moment
>that means if you were to trade your 1 LINK for 0.02 ETH, then trade that 0.02 ETH for 0.008 BTC, you could buy back about 1.14 LINK - 0.14 LINK profit

Markets update within seconds in regulated exchanges, but crypto and DeFi especially tends to have a fuckton of arbitrage, especially in illiquid markets such as new projects

$83 on Robinhood, 1000 Dogecoin at 1.5c. Random stonks, few memes, most random Chink stocks. Up 65% in under 3 weeks. Coinbase, $0 in, $35 in signup turned to $50 with mostly Stellar Lumens. Put $12 in yesterday, $61 is now $64 with GRT and Ren added in.

So basically under $100 input has given me $200 output in under a month. It's not the crazy 10x gains people talk about on here but it's over 1% per day.

newfag here, started with 60$ + 20$ from mining in mid december.

started out renting hashing power on nicehash, got to ~150$. then a 51% attack happened on the algo i was mining on. i immediately pulled out, but then i realized a way to exploit the distribution system for the hashpower, to basically get tons of free hashrate for 2 days, getting me to about 600$. i had almost all money locked for a while, but the small amount i had left i put in another algo, when my 51% earnings were unlocked i had about 900$. after that i started distributing it over various low cap coins, and together with the profits from the algo im now sitting at 1400$, planning to get into grid trading once i take some profits.

nowhere near a large amount, but feeling decent considering the start.

find me one good source that says that you have to pay taxes on crypto *held* in a wallet
that would be like paying taxes just for owning jewelry or a coin collection or a car even if you havent sold it (the IRS treats crypto the same way as these types of property):

Is a howey test kind of thing. You count the gain the moment you "control" it. Where or how doesn't matter. Its value in USD is taxable, it is the cost basis.

Think about it. Capital assets can be anything, from a verbal agreement, exchange of cash or paper. Doesn't matter what wallet, even what asset.

False. You do not count the gain until you sold or closed your position. Otherwise you would be, in your retard argument, be paying taxes on it the whole way up while holding.
