I'd go with DOT if I had to pick between the two. AVAX is the superior choice however. It's better technology and underpriced.

Cardano has an ERC20 converter. Every developer will be developing for Cardano if they like it or not. If you refuse to move your dapp to Cardano someone will just take your open source code and compile it on Cardano and wah la a new defi project is created. Kek.
