This eerie silence around XLM is noteworthy. Those who have studied Stellar have this sort of disbelief of what they see to be plausible. The logic goes through the roof.

I don't care about other people's moneys. I am not a commie.
I have studied XLM and the premise seems to be sound for a stable platform to make transactions.
I am interested in this, as a musician. I want to figure out new income routes for artists (including myself) and I think XLM has by far the best platform. I want to cut down every middle men between me and the fan.

You're asking the wrong questions.
Right question:
>when will this get to the masses as a tool to pay and get paid?
If you answer that, the gains will go up as a side issue.
AFAIK the Stellar tech is already far superior to BTC and ETH.
Take the focus out of the immediate gains and instead focus on the actual usability. The gains will follow if the premise is correct.

Mastercard and Visa are looking to process payments with cryptocurrency, mainly stablecoins.

USDC, for example, is a stablecoin that equals $1 USD. Using Stellar's blockchain, you can transfer USDC at the speed of light for no cost, which makes me believe Mastercard and Visa are going to choose Stellar.

Also, if I'm visiting the US and buying products, I could spend €EUR and merchants would receive the payment in $USD instantly, all with no cost and no exchange fee.

>> No.29078391

>>29078157
To add: the main thing you have to focus on here is not XLM, it's the Stellar blockchain. It's innovative, decentralized and super fast. You can transfer whatever currency you'd like inside it (for example USD to EUR). However, you need to have at least 1 XLM in your wallet at all times, because if you're transferring, let's say, 1 million USD to someone who wants to receive it in EUR, you will have to pay a transfer fee of 0.000001 XLM.

The key to prosperity of a nation (or world) is dictated by:
>the amount of friction in normal transactions and trade
The rope in which people and nations in large have been hanged has, thus far, always made out of bureaucracy.
>less friction, more prosperous "system".

Niccolo Machiavelly also pointed this out, when he wrote:
>all the Prince needs to do to have a flourishing domain, is to simply stop oppressing His people.
By this, Niccolo meant that people will do it all without any need for micromanaging. Will fill the treasury for the Prince, so he could have another adventurous war.

I have over 30k lumens, and it's the majority of my profile. I have a lot of hope riding on the possibility that stellar is widely adopted. If say forex used XLM for transactions, that 6 trillion some forex market could make XLM $13k per lumen. While this is a wild dream, one must remember no one thought BTC would be worth $1000, let alone $50k. Stellar has the technology and is making the partnerships. I'd be incredibly happy if it hit $40 in 4 years, but we'll just have to wait and see

If you look this crowd, for example,
https://youtu.be/El4zsUZjsDc?t=175
They are pretty much all 4chan class incels. Highly intellectual, introverts, suffers from White Hate (as opposed to red hate, which is spontaneus and fast, white hate can last decades).. They gather there, in amazingly peacefully, to enjoy highly skilled, high IQ music that reflects their persona 100%.
Then, they get laid.
Music is a wonderful thing. Artists shouldn't starve to death, like they do now.
Music, itself, of course has no magical powers. It's what You grant to it.
I take the extreme music as a stress relief.
Music business IS dying. None of you can't live without it. Musicians have been exploited like whores forever. This needs to stop.
