If you read classic TA from the old days it’s really about trying to read human actions out of the charts and they have some pretty solid reasoning about the actions that give rise to each formation. the very idea of "closing" candles doesn't even make any goddamn sense in a 24/7 market like crypto. There's no closing bell. There's no weekends off. "closing" is a completely arbitrary timestamp, yet people act like 6:00pm eastern time is some critical junction because muh daily candles.

TA is basically 99% bullshit. The best strategy for trading is to just buy dips on undervalued blue chip stocks/crypto and sell when it goes back up again, and even then there is still the risk of a horrible crash taking the price further down for months.
I went balls deep on ADA when it fell close to 60 cents during the recent market dip. Got in around 70 cents though and now ADA is back to 90 cents. It's too easy sometimes.

Agreed, but I don't even call that TA. I guess that's more like FA. I do the same thing more or less when I look at what types of projects are mooning, then see if there are any in that category that haven't taken off yet. I was able to hop on AVAX for a moon mission after I saw DOT/ADA pop off, and same with BNT.

IMO TA is only good to determine floors. If you see something jump, you know a whale or whales just pumped and you can figure from that plus FOMO activity where a floor will be from an eventual correction. This is a good way to determine when to buy in, instead of just FOMOing.

But yes most TA is hot garbage.
