Let's say, hypothetically, that one has acquired roughly 30k hard cash from a tipping job over the course of a few years.

What do?

Use it for cash purchases
Try not to purchase things that can be identified like groceries (they could calculate how many calories you need) or rent.

You pretty much gotta do what black people do. Use it for luxury items.
Computers, tvs, furniture. Probably your best bet if you are evading taxes.

Or talk to a tax lawyer about actually paying. You might lose 20-50%, but no risk.

I'd use the cash for 20% of my groceries, and my beer/weed money. Also videogames and such.

I want to invest it.
I could use it to buy items to flip but ideally I would use it as a pool to invest virtually.

I could just deposit it and have it reported by the bank but that poses risk since there is no paper trail for tips.

you have two options:

Goto a pawn shop and store it in Gold or Silver

or

Buy bitcoins, or other crypto locally. However, cashing out will be a bitch, becuase you will need to find a local buyer to pay for it in cash. What if you turn that 30k into 1m? then what? that's alot of cash you will need to manage in the cryptoworld, and not have it get fucked over due to volatility.

If you don't want fuck around with all that bullshit, then unfortunately, like everyone said, you gotta pay your due. Talk to a tax lawyer.

Bitcoins or crypto currency is an option. How easy is it to cash out with bitcoin. Also, wouldn't that just put me back in the same spot? Or would you be able to convert bitcoin into usable electronic USD?
