farming is when you provide liquidity so that other people can trade on pancake swap. you have to do it in equal parts, for example equal values of wynaut+BNB. when you do that, you get LP tokens - liquidity pool tokens that represent your share of the pool. you take those and stake them on their platform, and you're rewarded with another token - in this case meowth. the reward is because you're providing a valuable service for the project (liquidity so people can trade it) and you're also assuming the risk of impermanent loss, which is when one of the tokens in the pair changes value rapidly, so the balance of your tokens will be different when you withdraw your LP. in an uptrend you don't lose $, you just lose potential gains (you would have made more by just holding the token). the reward token is meant to make up for that, which is why the APYs can be so high.
