nope. The naturalization process is pretty straightforward but it does take a long time. State guys come out and interview you and check things out, you have to "contribute to Japanese society" in a positive way and show proof. And you need someone to vouch for you. And you need to learn Japanese well enough to understand everything. Then finally, you have to renounce your previous citizenship because Japan doesn't allow dual-nationals (people born dual can get away with it but not if you voluntarily naturalize).
