Why did Ethereum fail bros

>> No.28907637

gas fees

It's doing the opposite of failing, so many people are using it the cheapest I can fucking get to send tokens somehwere is ninety dollars. this is a problem created by how succesful it is

>> No.28907699

it can't scale

price and no scaling. Everyone knows the only biggest advantage ETH had was whether their smart contracts could be executed for cheaper.

most proper projects are building to be blockchain agnostic specifically because they know eth can't scale.

So it becomes prohibitively expensive the more people transfer crypto? Doesn't seem good to me. If a competitor can cut the cost to $1 instead of $90, why the fuck would anyone pay $90.

too expensive to encourage normies to participate in the staking pools. Right now it's almost $60k to start staking and you won't get your money back for 12 years. The results is gas fees going up and up which will destroy the ERC-20 market

remember when Plasma was going to solve this, and then sharding? I've been out of the game for a couple years but were there any reasons these didn't get implemented?

Who'se going to do that and how? If anyone offers a better solution people will flock to it, clog up their blockchain and you get the same problem again.
